Privacy Policy

We keep this simple. We only collect what we need to ship you a bike and answer your questions. We don’t sell your data, we don’t run third-party advertising trackers, and we don’t share your contact info with anyone other than the freight carrier and our supplier when we have to.
1. What We Collect
When you contact us about an order or send payment, we collect:
- Your name — needed for the shipping label;
- Your delivery address — needed to ship the bike;
- Your phone number — to confirm stock, send tracking, and coordinate delivery;
- Your email address — alternative to text for confirmation and tracking;
- Your variant choice (Trail or Trail XL) — needed to fulfill correctly.
We collect this information when you text or email us, when you send Cash App payment with the requested note, and when we exchange shipping details with you.
What we don’t collect
We don’t collect or store: credit card numbers, bank account numbers, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, or date of birth. Payment is handled entirely on Cash App’s platform — they hold the financial credentials, not us.
2. Site Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use joltmoto.com so we can improve the page. Vercel Analytics is privacy-friendly by design — it does not use cookies, does not track individuals across sites, and does not store IP addresses. It records aggregate, anonymous data like page views, country, browser type, and which buttons get clicked.
We do not run Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or any third-party advertising tracker on this site.
3. How We Use Your Information
Only for fulfilling your order. Specifically:
- Confirming stock and answering your questions before you order;
- Verifying receipt of payment in Cash App;
- Generating a shipping label and arranging freight pickup;
- Sending you tracking information;
- Coordinating delivery with the carrier and with you;
- Supporting warranty claims during the warranty period.
We do not use your information for marketing emails, retargeting ads, or any other promotional purpose. We do not send a newsletter.
4. Who We Share With
Limited to the parties involved in actually shipping you the bike:
- The freight carrier (such as a regional LTL carrier) — receives your name, address, and phone number on the shipping label and bill of lading;
- Our supplier — receives the information necessary to fulfill from the warehouse, including in the rare case of a freight-damage claim;
- Cash App / Block, Inc. — handles the actual payment, governed by their own privacy policy at cash.app/legal/privacy.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not share it with advertisers, marketers, or data brokers.
5. How Long We Keep It
We retain order records (name, address, contact info, variant, payment confirmation, tracking) for as long as needed to support the 1-year warranty plus a reasonable buffer for accounting and tax records — typically 3 years. After that, records are deleted or anonymized.
6. Your Rights (California and Beyond)
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) including the right to know what personal information we hold about you, the right to request deletion, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. To make a request, email ride@joltmoto.com.
We honor similar requests from residents of other U.S. states with comparable laws (Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and others) without requiring you to prove residency, simply because it’s the right thing to do.
7. Children
joltmoto.com is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
8. Security
joltmoto.com is served over HTTPS with TLS encryption. We don’t store payment information ourselves; that’s Cash App’s job. Contact information we hold for order fulfillment lives in standard tools (email, text, spreadsheets) protected by passwords and two-factor authentication where available.
No system is perfectly secure. If we ever have a breach affecting your information, we’ll notify you promptly and by the means required by applicable law.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the home page or sent to you by text or email if we hold your contact information.
